What This Privacy Policy Covers

• This Privacy Policy covers the Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association (“HISRA”) treatment of personally identifiable information that may be collected when you use the HISRA’s websites, or when you use Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association services.
• This policy also covers how the Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association handles any personally identifiable information obtained from business partner sites and shared within the districts that construct HISRA.
• This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that the Peoria Park District/HISRA does not own or control, or to people that the Peoria Park District/HISRA does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and Use

• HISRA collects personally identifiable information when you register for a HISRA account or when you use certain HISRA products or services.  HISRA may also receive personally identifiable information from our business partners.
• When you register with HISRA, we may ask for your name, email address, mailing address, phone, birth date, gender, zip code.  Once you register with the HISRA and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
• HISRA also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address.
• HISRA uses information for two general purposes: to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to contact you about specials and new products.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

• HISRA will not give, sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.
• HISRA may share personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

• We have your consent to share the information;
• We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process; or
• We find that your actions on our websites violate the HISRA’s Terms of Service or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.

• HISRA uses industry-standard encryption to protect the confidentiality of the information you submit to us during online interactions.  HISRA takes the security of your personal information very seriously. Online HISRA services protect your personal information during transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). When your personal data is stored by HISRA, we use computer systems with limited access housed in facilities using physical security measures.

HISRA may amend this policy at any time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our website.
